Directions to the Sunday swimming hole »

June 14th, 2009

From the Omni Hotel parking area:
Turn right onto Ridge/McIntire. At the first light, turn left onto Preston Avenue. Stay straight on Preston, which becomes Barracks Road. Stay on this road for miles and miles, crossing over Emmet Street/Rt 29. Barracks Road changes names to Garth Road at some point but it’s all the same road. As you enter White Hall, you’ll pass Wyant’s store on the right and approach the Piedmont Store. Don’t follow the curve right but keep going straight and pass the Piedmont Store so that it’s on your right. Follow Sugar Hollow Road about 3.5 miles, crossing over 3 bridges. Look for the YOURSPACE banner tied to a rock on the right hand side of the road next to the river.

Park and play!
