Every evening after dark, the year’s best images and stories from international newspapers and magazines are projected in storefront windows and on a large outdoor screen in the center of the downtown pedestrian mall in Charlottesville. Illustrating how images are transformed in context, this show projects first the original image and then the photograph as it appears in the publication. Participating organizations include National Geographic Magazine, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, Washington Post, Aperture Magazine, Dispatches, Geo, Gourmet, Mother Jones, Outdoor Photographer and more than thirty others.
